FIVE HEALTHY HOLIDAY TIPS

I have been a little busy this week and I totally forgot to post the Motivation Monday playlist. It's ok, this wasn't one of my favorites anyway. But, I do need to get myself back into the gym for a good workout session, so I'm posting it today. 

Another thing I need to work on is cutting back on alcohol. I've learned that it doesn't upset my stomach nearly as much as food does, so I've been drinking a bit more than I'm comfortable with for the last week. I was like, 'oh I can have wine again'? 

I need tips on how to make it through the holiday season motivated and not in a booze haze because I haven't done that in years! Here's what I've come up with. 

1. Two glasses of wine in a sitting...tops.

After that, get up and walk across the room and then have another glass. 

2. Go to the gym at least 3 days per week.

If I don't go to the gym, I will force myself to trip over my feet to one of Matt Steffanina's dance tutorials. I've been working on this one for months and made NO progress. 

3. Eat soups, chili, and protein shakes.

My stomach pouch hasn't been happy with food lately. Don't do this...

4. Sign up for a basketball league.  

More physical activity and social opportunities! I haven't played since high school so I will be terrible.  

5. Get more sleep.
